APPA Mentorship Program

The APPA offers a meeting mentorship program in which trainee/early career attendees are matched with more seasoned attendees. The mentor serves as a connection throughout the meeting to promote inclusion and belonging and can be a point of contact throughout the meeting. Mentors can also discuss and offer guidance on topics related to research, clinical interests, and other aspects of education and career development.

What topics might you like to discuss with your mentor (check all that apply)? We will share this information with your mentor.
Are you a mid- or senior career attendee who like to serve as a meeting mentor for a trainee/early career mentee?
We often have more requests for mentors than volunteers - would you be willing to serve as a mentor to more than one mentee? You are welcome to meet with them together.
Would you be willing to meet with your mentee(s) at regular intervals (monthly or quarterly) throughout the year?
